- Request to First-visit patients
- If this is your first visit here, please bring a patient referral letter from your primary care doctor, otherwise you must pay a first-visit fee of 5,500 yen (incl. tax) for the Special or Specified Medical Care Coverage.
Note: What is the Special or Specified Medical Care Coverage?
Community health hospitals having 400 beds or more are obliged to collect 5,500 yen (incl. tax) or more from each patient on their first visit for the Special or Specified Medical Care Coverage. In September 2017, we were certified as a community health hospital, and so we must charge a first-visit fee of 5,500 yen on patients who do not have a referral letter at their first visit. If you are receiving public healthcare funding from the Japanese Government, Aichi Prefectural Government, City of Toyota Government, or other municipality or if you come by ambulance, you need not pay the first-visit fee. Please note, however, that if you are receiving public funding for the aged, infants, or single-parent households, you are required to pay the fee.

Weekdays and 1st and 3rd Saturdays: 8:20〜11:30
Note: Consultation with a doctor is possible in the morning only.
- For Repeat-patients
- With an appointment
Weekdays: 8:20〜16:30
- Without an appointment
- Weekdays: 8:20〜11:30

- Note: If you are not a first-time patient, you can register using a repeat-patient reception machine.
Note: Repeat-patient reception machines are available in front of the reception desks in Blocks A and B, in front of the reception desk in Block C, and in front of the Preoperative Examination Center.

Outpatient care is not available on some days of the week at the following departments: Department Days of the week on which outpatient care is not available Department of Urology Thursday Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Thursday Pain Clinic Monday, Wednesday, Saturday Department of Respiratory Surgery Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Department of Cardiac Surgery Monday, Wednesday, Saturday We cannot accept first-time patients who do not have a referral letter and patients seeking care without an appointment on some days of the week at the following departments: Department Days of the week on which we cannot accept patients Department of Otorhinolaryngology Saturday Department of Ophthalmology Monday, Thursday
Consultation Hours
- Consultation hours differ depending on the department. Please see the Physician Attendance Schedule.
- Note: If this is your first visit here, consultations are available in the morning only. Consultations at the Specialty Outpatient Clinic are not possible without an appointment.
- Note: Priority is given to those with appointments. If you have no appointment, you may have to wait a long time to be seen.
- Note: If you are a first-time patient without a referral letter, a first-visit fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
